Disc-O-Dogs

It all began when Beauregard, a six week old Border Collie-Aussie mix, came to live with us in May 2006.

We soon found that Beau's favorite toy was his plastic flying disc!  Beau was catching the disc at 8 weeks and was soon bringing it back to us to toss again.  We encouraged his play and it soon became an obsession.  We began to watch TV shows with "Frisbee" dog competitions and to read all we could on the sport.  We attended our first competion (without Beau) in May 2007.  We met several of the top competitors and were welcomed into the disc-doggin world. We attended the Skyhoundz World Championship in Atlanta in September 2007 and made the decision on the way home -- it was time to enter Beau in competition!  We haven't slowed down since!
